Christmas Eve Snowstorm in Oklahoma

A blizzard in Oklahoma is bringing a beautiful Christmas Eve. Plans had to change a bit as Heather and Will are stranded in Norman, but safe. Brian took Emily home after exchanging our Christmas Eve gifts to each other and had a dangerous drive back. We are now enjoying a quiet, magical evening in our lovely decorated home. We will snuggle down and wait for Santa and then hope Heather & Will will be able to travel for Christmas Dinner tomorrow.

Almost Ready for Christmas!

We had a fun afternoon baking gingerbread cookies. Brian specifically requested my gingerbread cookies. I haven't made them in years. They were Scott's and Brian's favorite. We had a ball listing to Christmas music and watching the storm reports as we baked our cookies. We hope the storm won't be so bad as Heather & Will have to drive into town tomorrow evening - Christmas Eve.

Preparing for Christmas.

I love Christmas decorations, but mostly love little Baby Jesus decorations. I truly enjoyed creating this Baby Jesus clothespin doll with a beautiful Angel watching over.
